Configurations

Sized to the brief.

  • Single-room site office — 20 × 10 ft

The most common starting point: one room for a site engineer or supervisor, with a desk, storage, lighting, fan and AC points. Arrives on a truck and is crane-set onto a simple plinth.

  • Office with cabin and washroom — 40 × 10 ft

A longer module divided into a manager's cabin, an open work area and an attached washroom or pantry. The layout most project teams settle on for a site that will run a year or more.

  • Multi-module and double-storey offices

Several modules joined side by side or stacked, with an external staircase and walkway, to create a full project office with meeting room, drawing room and toilets.

  • Standard or premium finish

Standard finish covers insulated panels, vinyl flooring, false ceiling and concealed wiring. Premium adds ACP or glazed façades, upgraded interiors and furniture for client-facing site offices.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does a portable office cabin last?

A well-built steel-framed cabin with insulated sandwich panels gives many years of service when it is kept on a dry plinth and maintained. Lifespan depends mainly on site conditions, how often it is relocated and whether roof and joints are checked before each monsoon.

Can the cabin be moved to our next site?

Yes. The cabin is built on a steel base frame with lifting points, so it can be disconnected, lifted onto a trailer and set down on the next site without dismantling. Internal fit-out travels with it.

What foundation does a porta cabin need?

Usually a level concrete plinth, raised pedestals or a row of block supports at the base-frame bearing points, kept above the local flood line. We share the support layout with the proposal so your site team can prepare it in advance.

Is air-conditioning included?

Every cabin is wired with AC points and insulated to reduce cooling load. Split or window units can be supplied and fitted on request, or you can use your own.

How is the cabin delivered and how long does it take?

Cabins leave our Umbergaon factory by road, fully finished, and are unloaded by crane on site. Timelines depend on size, quantity and specification and are confirmed in the proposal.

Can we change the layout, windows or finishes?

Yes. Room divisions, door and window positions, washrooms, flooring, façade cladding and furniture are all chosen per project. Send us the headcount and how the office will be used and we will draw a layout.
