Portable Cabins & E-Houses in Baddi and Nalagarh

Baddi–Barotiwala–Nalagarh is one of India's largest pharmaceutical hubs. We build site offices, security and toilet cabins, labour camps, clean-room enclosures and E-Houses for its plants, and deliver them by road from Umbergaon.

Baddi, Barotiwala & Nalagarh

In the Solan district, where Himachal meets Punjab and Haryana, the Baddi–Barotiwala–Nalagarh belt grew into a major manufacturing region on the back of industrial incentives. Pharmaceuticals dominate, with hundreds of formulation plants, and FMCG, packaging, textiles and electronics are also strong. A medical devices park is being developed at Nalagarh.

Pharma plants expand and upgrade constantly, and they specify carefully. New blocks need site offices and labour accommodation during construction; operating plants need security cabins, toilet blocks, store rooms and changing rooms; and new electrical capacity is often housed in E-Houses. Insulated PUF panel structures suit controlled-environment rooms and cold storage.

The belt lies in the foothills just north of Chandigarh, reached by road from Umbergaon through Rajasthan, Haryana and the Pinjore–Nalagarh side. Roads are good but can be congested, and the monsoon brings flash floods on the seasonal streams. We plan vehicle size, timing and the lift with you, and specify for a high seismic zone.

Applications

Built for the climate

Specified for Baddi.

Sub-tropical foothill climate: hot summers, a heavy monsoon with flash floods on local streams, and cool winters — in a high seismic zone.

  1. 01Have your engineer set seismic design criteria, and anchor modules securely to their foundations.
  2. 02Raise plinths and keep structures clear of stream beds that flood during the monsoon.
  3. 03Use PUF-insulated walls and roof for summer heat and cool winter nights.
  4. 04Specify smooth, washable internal finishes and sealed joints for pharma support rooms.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do you deliver to Baddi and Nalagarh?

By road from our factory in GIDC Umbergaon, north through Rajasthan and Haryana into the Solan foothills. We plan vehicle size and timing for local roads and the lift at your plant.

Can you build insulated rooms for pharma plants?

Yes. We build PUF panel rooms with smooth, washable finishes that can serve as store rooms, changing rooms or controlled-environment spaces. Tell us the classification and finishes your quality team requires, and we will design to suit.

What should we plan for the monsoon in the Baddi belt?

Heavy rain can cause flash floods on the local streams. Keep structures above flood level on a raised plinth, plan drainage, and schedule deliveries outside the heaviest spells.
