Portable Cabins & E-Houses in West Bengal

West Bengal runs from the Hooghly and the port at Haldia to the steel and coal belt of Durgapur–Asansol and up to the tea hills of Darjeeling. We build site offices, labour camps, E-Houses and resort cottages for all of it, and deliver them by road from Umbergaon.

West Bengal

West Bengal is eastern India's oldest industrial state. Kolkata and Howrah still hold the engineering works, docks and trading houses that grew along the Hooghly, while the Durgapur–Asansol belt to the west is built on coal, steel, power and cement. Haldia adds a port, a refinery and a petrochemical and chemical complex at the river mouth, and Kharagpur is a major rail junction with industrial parks growing beside it.

The north of the state is a different market. Siliguri is the gateway to Sikkim, Bhutan and the North-East, ringed by the tea estates of the Terai and Dooars, and the Darjeeling hills above it draw tourists, homestays and boutique hotels. Across the state, metro lines, flyovers, housing, rail projects and plant expansions keep contractors on site and in need of site offices, labour accommodation, toilet blocks and security cabins.

Everything is built at our factory in Umbergaon and travels by road across central India, typically through Nagpur, Raipur and Sambalpur toward Kharagpur and Kolkata. North Bengal and the hills add a further leg, so we plan module sizes, the vehicle and the crane lift for each project before dispatch.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do you deliver portable cabins to West Bengal?

Yes. Everything is built at our factory in Umbergaon, Gujarat, and delivered by road across central India to Kolkata, Haldia, Durgapur and beyond. North Bengal and the Darjeeling hills add a further leg, which we plan with you before dispatch.

Can you supply E-Houses for plants in Haldia or Durgapur?

Yes. We build E-Houses and substation enclosures around your panel layout, with cable entries, ventilation or HVAC provisions, lighting and earthing designed in. Share the standards and area classification your project specifies and we engineer the enclosure to suit.

What weather should cabins in Bengal be built for?

Hot, humid summers, a heavy monsoon, and sudden pre-monsoon storms — the nor'westers — with strong gusts. Cyclones can reach the coast around Haldia and the Sundarbans. A sealed, well-drained roof, secure anchorage and corrosion-resistant finishes are the priorities.

Do we need approvals for a temporary site office in West Bengal?

It depends on the site, the use and how long the structure stays. Inside an industrial park, the park authority and your own safety team usually set the rules; in the city, the local body may have a say. We provide drawings and specifications to support whatever approvals apply.
