Why it works

Built around how you’ll use it.

  • 01

    Inherent durability

Corten-steel shells built for ocean freight stand up to weather and rough handling.

  • 02

    Sustainable

Repurposing containers gives steel a second life and cuts construction waste.

  • 03

    Secure

Steel walls and lockable doors make them ideal for guard rooms and storage.

  • 04

    Stackable & modular

Combine and stack units to create larger or multi-level spaces.

Configurations

Sized to the brief.

  • 20 ft container cabin

A single converted container for a guard room, site office, ticket booth or kiosk. Insulated, lined, wired and fitted with windows and a lockable door.

  • 40 ft container office or accommodation

A longer container divided into office, meeting room and washroom, or into sleeping rooms for site staff. High-cube units give extra headroom for a more comfortable interior.

  • Container cafés and pop-up retail

Containers with large openings, serving hatches, glazing and branded façades, set on a site as a standalone outlet or grouped into a small market.

  • Stacked and combined container buildings

Multiple containers joined and stacked into homes, studios and multi-level offices, with external stairs, decks and glazing.

  • Standard or premium finish

Standard finish for secure, practical site use; premium finish with cladding, full-height glazing and designed interiors for homes, hospitality and client-facing spaces.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What sizes do container cabins come in?

They are based on standard 20 ft and 40 ft containers, in standard or high-cube height. Several units can be combined side by side or stacked to create larger spaces.

Do container cabins get too hot?

An uninsulated steel container does. Our container cabins are lined with PUF, rockwool or glasswool insulation, and can be fitted with AC and shading, so interiors stay comfortable.

What is the difference between a container cabin and a porta cabin?

A container cabin uses a corten-steel shipping container as its shell, which makes it very robust and secure. A porta cabin is built from a steel frame and insulated panels, which offers more freedom in size and layout. Our guide on porta cabin vs container cabin compares them in detail.

Can a container cabin be relocated?

Yes. Containers are designed to be lifted by their corner castings, so a finished cabin can be craned onto a trailer and moved to a new site in one piece.

Can a container be turned into a home?

Yes. With insulation, glazing, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom fit-out, single or stacked containers make comfortable homes, studios and guest rooms. The design is developed around your plot and brief.
