Configurations
Sized to the brief.
20 ft standard container
About 6.06 × 2.44 × 2.59 m external. The most versatile size for on-site storage, tool rooms and small conversions, and the easiest to place on tight sites.
40 ft standard container
About 12.19 × 2.44 × 2.59 m external. Twice the floor area for bulk storage, stock and equipment, or as the shell for a larger office or accommodation conversion.
40 ft high-cube container
About 12.19 × 2.44 × 2.90 m external. The extra height suits tall equipment and gives a more generous ceiling when the container is converted for people.
Modified storage and equipment containers
Containers with added doors, vents, lighting, shelving or insulation — for site stores, generator and equipment housing, or secure document storage.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What are the dimensions of 20 ft and 40 ft containers?
Externally, a 20 ft container is about 6.06 × 2.44 × 2.59 m and a 40 ft container about 12.19 × 2.44 × 2.59 m. A 40 ft high-cube is about 2.90 m tall. Internal dimensions are slightly smaller because of the wall and floor thickness.
What is a high-cube container?
A high-cube container is about 30 cm taller than a standard one. It is chosen for tall cargo and equipment, and for conversions where a more comfortable ceiling height matters.
Are shipping containers weatherproof for outdoor storage?
Yes. The corten-steel shell and sealed cargo doors keep contents dry and secure outdoors. For long use in a single place, set the container on level supports so water drains away from the floor.
How is a container delivered to site?
By road on a trailer, and unloaded by crane or side-lifter. Your site needs clear access for the vehicle and a firm, level area where the container will sit.
Can you modify a container after we buy it?
Yes. We can add doors, windows, vents, insulation, electricals and shelving, or convert it fully into a container cabin. Tell us how you plan to use it and we will suggest the right modifications.
