E-Houses & Portable Cabins in Paradip

Paradip is one of India's busiest ports and the centre of Odisha's petroleum and chemicals region. We build E-Houses, operator cabins, site offices and labour camps detailed for its salt air and cyclone exposure.

Paradip

Paradip stands where the Mahanadi meets the Bay of Bengal. Its port handles coal, ore, fertiliser raw materials and petroleum in large volumes, a refinery operates beside it, and fertiliser and phosphate plants have long been part of the town. The surrounding Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region spreads across Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara districts, and a major petrochemical complex is being developed within it.

That scale of investment brings years of construction. Petrochemical and refinery projects need large labour camps, site offices, toilet blocks and security cabins, often for thousands of workers. New process units, berths and conveyors need E-Houses, control rooms and operator cabins, and port operations need gate and weighbridge cabins that stand up to salt and wind.

From Umbergaon, modules travel by road across central India and down the Mahanadi valley toward the coast. Paradip is flat, low-lying and exposed to severe cyclones, which have struck this coast repeatedly, so anchorage, corrosion protection and drainage come first in every design. Plant and port gates have their own permits, which we plan with your team.

Applications

Built for the climate

Specified for Paradip.

Hot, humid coastal climate with salt-laden air, a heavy monsoon from June to September and high exposure to severe Bay of Bengal cyclones and storm surge.

  1. 01Anchor every cabin to its foundation and detail roof and frame fixings for the cyclone wind speeds your engineer specifies.
  2. 02Specify galvanised frames, higher-grade coated skins and stainless fixings for salt and a chemical atmosphere.
  3. 03Raise plinths well above grade on low-lying coastal ground prone to waterlogging and surge.
  4. 04Provide gas-tight cable entries and pressurisation provisions or the area classification your plant requires for E-Houses.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can you supply labour camps for petrochemical construction at Paradip?

Yes. We build bunk houses, dining halls, toilet blocks, site offices and store rooms, planned as a camp layout around your headcount and phasing. Our labour camp guide covers the planning steps.

How are E-Houses built for Paradip's coastal conditions?

With galvanised frames, corrosion-resistant skins and fixings, sealed cable entries and HVAC or pressurisation provisions as specified. Anchorage and roof details are designed for the cyclone wind speeds your engineer sets.

How do you deliver to Paradip?

By road from Umbergaon across central India and down to the Odisha coast. Port and plant gates have their own permit systems, so we plan timing and paperwork with your team.

Which season should we plan installation around?

Avoid the monsoon and the cyclone-prone months around it where possible — roughly May–June and October–November carry the highest cyclone risk. Foundations are best ready before the rains.
