E-Houses, Labour Camps & Site Offices in Jamnagar

Jamnagar holds one of the largest refining complexes in the world and India's brass-parts capital. We build E-Houses, control rooms, labour camps, site offices and operator cabins for its plants and the contractors who serve them.

Jamnagar

West of the city, along the Gulf of Kutch, lies one of the largest petroleum refining and petrochemical complexes anywhere, with a port, power plants and a constant programme of expansions and shutdowns. Around Sikka there are further power and port facilities. Jamnagar itself is known as the Brass City: thousands of workshops in Shanker Tekri and the Dared GIDC estates turn out brass fittings, components and hardware for markets worldwide.

The refinery belt is enterprise work. Expansions and turnarounds bring EPC contractors who need labour camps for large workforces, site offices, canteens, toilet blocks and security cabins, and the plants themselves need E-Houses, analyser and control rooms built to demanding specifications. The brass cluster, by contrast, needs smaller things done well: store rooms, security cabins and modest panel rooms.

From Umbergaon, Jamnagar is a long road journey through Ahmedabad and Rajkot. Most sites are on open, flat ground with good access for trailers and cranes, but refinery and port sites have their own gate and permit procedures, which we plan around.

Applications

Built for the climate

Specified for Jamnagar.

Hot, dry coastal climate with strong winds, salt air near the gulf, a short monsoon and a real cyclone risk.

  1. 01Specify galvanised frames, PPGI skins and stainless fixings for salt air near the coast and the refinery belt.
  2. 02Design anchorage and roof fixings for high winds; the Saurashtra coast is exposed to Arabian Sea cyclones.
  3. 03Use a thicker PUF roof and insulated walls for summer heat on open, shadeless plots.
  4. 04Plan filtered ventilation or pressurisation provisions for E-Houses in dusty or process-hazard areas.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can you supply a labour camp for a refinery shutdown or expansion?

Yes. We build bunk houses, canteens, toilet and wash blocks, site offices and security cabins as a planned camp. Share the headcount, duration and plot and we will propose a layout. Our labour camp guide covers the essentials.

Do you build E-Houses and control rooms for the refinery belt?

Yes. We build E-Houses, analyser and control rooms around your equipment layout, with cable entries, HVAC provisions and lifting points. Specify the hazardous-area and design standards your project applies.

How do you handle refinery gate and permit procedures?

We plan the delivery with your site team: vehicle documents, gate timings, escort and crane permits. Tell us the site's procedures early and we schedule dispatch to suit.

When is the best time to install on the Jamnagar coast?

The dry months from October to May are easiest. The cyclone season around the monsoon's start and end brings high winds, so lifts are best planned outside those windows where possible.
