Portable Cabins & E-Houses in Satara, Shirwal and Lonand

Satara district links Pune's industry to the south. We build site offices, E-Houses, operator cabins, security and toilet cabins for the MIDC estates at Shirwal, Lonand and Satara, and for the sugar and hydro belt beyond.

Satara

Satara's industry follows the Pune–Bengaluru highway. Shirwal, just south of the Pune district boundary, has become a busy estate for pharmaceutical packaging, engineering and consumer-goods plants; Lonand adds further units to the east; and Satara MIDC, one of the older estates, holds foundries, engineering and dairy equipment makers. Further south, Karad is a sugar and textile town, and the Koyna dam and hydro scheme lie in the hills to the west.

Plants on this corridor often spread out from Pune and specify like Pune plants: E-Houses and substations as load grows, operator cabins and quality rooms, clean stores and security cabins. Contractors on highway, irrigation and plant projects need site offices, labour camps and toilet blocks.

From Umbergaon, Satara is reached by road through the Mumbai region, up the ghats to Pune and south on the highway, including the Khambatki ghat. Larger modules need route planning on the ghat sections; estate plots themselves are generally easy to reach.

Applications

Built for the climate

Specified for Satara.

Moderate plateau climate: warm summers, a monsoon that is very heavy towards the western ghats, and mild winters; the Koyna area is seismically active.

  1. 01Slope roofs and seal joints well; rainfall rises sharply towards the ghats west of Satara.
  2. 02Use an insulated PUF roof for summer heat on the eastern plateau around Lonand.
  3. 03Near Koyna, ask for anchorage and frames designed to the seismic loads your engineer specifies.
  4. 04Plan transport of larger modules around the Khambatki and Pune ghat sections.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do you deliver to Shirwal and Satara?

By road from Umbergaon, through the Mumbai region, up the ghats to Pune and south on the Pune–Bengaluru highway. Larger modules may need route planning for the ghat sections, which we work out during design.

Can you build E-Houses for plants in Shirwal?

Yes. We build E-Houses and substation enclosures around your panel layout, with cable entries, ventilation or HVAC provisions and lifting points. Share your drawings and standards.

Do you supply site offices for irrigation and hydro projects?

Yes. Site offices, labour accommodation, stores and toilet blocks can be supplied for remote project sites. Tell us the access and we will plan module sizes and delivery.

What approvals do temporary cabins need in an MIDC estate?

They are usually covered by your plot's permissions and the MIDC's rules. Your compliance team should confirm. We provide drawings and specifications to support any approval.
