Portable Cabins & E-Houses in Ballari and Hosapete

Ballari and Hosapete sit at the heart of Karnataka's steel and iron-ore belt. We build site offices, operator cabins, E-Houses and labour accommodation for its plants and mines, insulated for the heat of the Deccan interior.

Ballari & Hosapete

The Ballari district is one of India's major steel regions. Large integrated steel plants around Toranagallu, iron-ore mines in the Sandur hills and a chain of sponge-iron, pellet and ancillary units make up its industrial core, with KIADB areas at Kudathini adding more capacity. Ballari town is also known for its jeans and garment units, for which a dedicated park has been announced at Sanjeevarayanakote.

Steel plants and mines are demanding places for structures. They need operator cabins for cranes and process lines, control rooms and E-Houses for electrical systems, and large numbers of site offices, labour camps, toilet blocks and security cabins during expansions and shutdowns. Dust, heat and heavy vehicles all shape the specification. Hosapete, beside the Tungabhadra dam and close to Hampi, adds hotel and hospitality work.

From Umbergaon, Ballari is reached by road down the Mumbai–Pune–Bengaluru highway to Hubballi, then east through Hosapete. We plan vehicle size, route and the lift with you before dispatch, and allow for access rules and permit systems inside plant and mine premises.

Applications

Built for the climate

Specified for Ballari.

Hot, semi-arid Deccan climate: very hot summers, a short and light monsoon and mild winters, with heavy dust near mines and plants.

  1. 01Use a thicker PUF roof and insulated walls, and specify AC provisions for summer heat.
  2. 02Seal doors, windows and cable entries against dust, and use filtered ventilation for control rooms and E-Houses.
  3. 03Choose durable, easily cleaned exterior finishes that tolerate iron-ore dust.
  4. 04Shade glazing with deep overhangs, and plan crane standing on dry, uneven mine and plant ground.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do you deliver cabins to Ballari and Hosapete?

By road from our factory in Umbergaon, along the Mumbai–Pune–Bengaluru highway to Hubballi and then east through Hosapete. We plan vehicle size, route and timing with you during design.

Can you build operator cabins for steel plant cranes and process lines?

Yes. We build operator cabins with clear sightlines, insulation, AC provisions and dust sealing to suit the crane or line they serve. Share the machine details and mounting arrangement and we will develop the design.

Can you supply labour camps for a plant expansion or shutdown?

Yes. Labour accommodation, canteens, toilet blocks, site offices and security cabins can be supplied in numbers. Our labour camp planning guide covers layout and services.

What approvals do temporary structures need inside plant or mine premises?

They are governed by the site owner's permit and safety systems, along with any mining or factory rules that apply. Your safety team is the right first check. We provide drawings and specifications to support approvals.
