Portable Cabins & E-Houses in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh is India's largest north-eastern state, rising from the Assam plains to the high Himalaya. We build site offices, labour camps, E-Houses and light steel structures for its hydro, road and public projects, and plan every delivery with you.

Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal's construction is led by large public works. Hydroelectric projects — the Subansiri Lower scheme on the Assam border and the Dibang multipurpose project among them — the Frontier and Trans-Arunachal highways, new tunnels and bridges, and the growing capital region around Itanagar and Naharlagun all need site offices, labour camps, stores and electrical enclosures. Tourism is rising in Tawang, Ziro and the Siang valley.

Conditions change sharply with altitude. The foothills are hot, humid and very wet in the monsoon; the higher valleys have cold winters, and the highest passes see snow. The state lies in seismic zone V and landslides frequently close roads. Structures need insulation matched to altitude, sealed roofs and firm anchorage.

From Umbergaon, structures travel by road across northern India, through the Siliguri corridor, and along the north bank of the Brahmaputra into Arunachal. Visitors from outside the state need an Inner Line Permit, which applies to drivers and installation crews. Mountain roads limit vehicle size and some routes close seasonally, so flat-packed panel and light gauge steel systems assembled on site are often the practical choice. Each project is planned individually.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can you deliver structures to hydro and road project sites in Arunachal?

Yes, with careful planning. We agree the route, vehicle size, seasonal timing and whether the structure travels as modules or as flat-packed panels and frames for assembly on site. Many remote project sites suit the flat-packed approach.

Is an Inner Line Permit needed?

Yes. Arunachal Pradesh applies the Inner Line Permit system to visitors from outside the state, including drivers and installation crews. We build the permit process into the delivery plan.

Can cabins be insulated for cold, high-altitude sites?

Yes. We use thicker PUF walls and roofs, well-sealed doors and windows and double glazing on request for colder sites, and provisions for heating. Tell us the altitude and site conditions and we will specify accordingly.

When is the best time to deliver in Arunachal?

The drier months from roughly October to April are usually best in the foothills, while high passes can close in winter snow. The right window depends on the route, so we plan it with you.
