Prefab Cottages, Resort Rooms & Cafés in Rishikesh

Rishikesh sits where the Ganga leaves the Himalaya, with ashrams and temples along both banks and a steady stream of pilgrims, yoga students and adventure travellers. Tapovan and Laxman Jhula are packed with cafés, studios and guest houses, while upstream along the Badrinath road, Shivpuri and the beaches beyond are the centre of white-water rafting and riverside camping.

Hospitality here wants character and speed. Retreats and resorts add cottages, yoga halls and cafés between seasons; camps need comfortable, relocatable rooms; and hill plots are steep and hard to build on conventionally. Light gauge steel frames and container modules suit this: quick to erect on simple foundations, finished with timber decks, large glazing and deep verandas. Riverside land comes with rules — beach camps close for the monsoon, and the floodplain is controlled.

From Umbergaon, structures travel north to Delhi and on via Haridwar. The roads into the hills beyond Rishikesh are narrow and prone to monsoon landslides, and the region lies in a high seismic zone. We plan module size, route and season for each project.
